My name is Emelie Eliasson and I have worked close to twenty years as an economist – as CFO of MTG TV Sweden within the listed Modern Times Group, and in recent years as interim CFO of non-listed companies. The listed environment taught me what a really good basis for decisions looks like. The non-listed companies have taught me how rare it is – and how much easier decisions become when it exists.
I also bring a coach training with me, and it shapes the way I work: you should not just be handed the numbers, you should understand them and be able to use them. Everything I do starts from one idea – finances should point the way forward, not just describe what has already happened.
